Rain, the protagonist of Final Fantasy Resonance, holding his sword
Story and Brave ExviusConfirmed

Final Fantasy Resonance Voice Actors

Quick Answer

Rain is voiced by Clifford Chapin in English and Nobuhiko Okamoto in Japanese; Fina is Lizzie Freeman and Akane Fujita. Main-story dialogue is voiced, while many NPC and side-quest lines are not.

Clifford Chapin voices Rain in English, Alejandro Saab voices Lasswell and Lizzie Freeman voices Fina. Their Japanese counterparts are Nobuhiko Okamoto, Yusuke Kobayashi and Akane Fujita. The game offers English and Japanese performances, but that does not mean every line you read is spoken.

The tables below identify the main cast without explaining late-story relationships. Character names can still reveal who appears later in the adventure.

The English credits agree across the Behind the Voice Actors cast directory and the English and Japanese cast list. The two Fina entries belong to different character performances; Lizzie Freeman and Corey Pettit should not be combined into one interchangeable credit.

Other English performances

The cast directory also lists these supporting voices:

Veritas of the WatersColleen Clinkenbeard

This is a character lookup, rather than a claim to reproduce every performer in the end credits. Unlisted NPCs and additional roles should not be assigned an actor by similarity of voice alone.

Why some dialogue has no voice

The main story's cutscenes and dialogue have voice acting. Many ordinary town conversations and side quests are text-only. If a major scene has spoken dialogue but a nearby NPC does not, that difference can be part of the game's coverage rather than an audio failure.

Language support also separates interface text, subtitles and full audio. A translated menu or subtitle option does not automatically supply a dubbed performance in that language. The Steam language listing identifies English and Japanese as the full-audio options; check your regional platform listing when buying a different console edition.
